Mr. Keune’s primary responsibility is to formulate new and innovative strategies at Yesway to maximize sales growth and profitability, to provide fresh food and dispensed beverage leadership, including pricing and category management, and to ensure that the organization is a leader in consumer culinary trends. In addition, Mr. Keune supports the acquisitions team by conducting marketing and merchandising due diligence of all stores under contract, including the development of store-specific marketing business plans.
Prior to joining Yesway, Mr. Keune was the Principal Consultant at Truthpoint Consulting, offering consulting services and expertise in margin and store efficiency, digital strategy and activation, loyalty, food and beverage sales enhancements, and brand management. Prior to Truthpoint, Mr. Keune was the Chief Marketing Officer at Thorntons, Inc. and before that he served as the Interim Senior Vice President of Restaurant Marketing and the Vice President of Brand Marketing for Bob Evans Farms and Vice President of Daypart Development for Wendy’s International.
Mr. Keune holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.
